Schoolchildren can participate in the University of Tartu Museum’s educational programmes, which combine theoretical knowledge with fun practical activities. The Museum’s programmes complement formal school education and are a great alternative to in-class lessons.
The Museum’s annual exhibition is accompanied by thematic educational programmes which offer a diverse scope of approaches to the topics of the exhibition.
In addition to educational programmes, we also offer guided tours. The University of Tartu and the History of Science through the Centuries introduces the history of the University of Tartu on the basis of the Museum’s permanent exhibition. Toome Hill – the Window to Tartu introduces the different layers, landmark buildings and monuments of Toome Hill.
You can invite the Crazy Scientist to your school, organise birthdays in the Crazy Scientist’s Office, take part in his experiments every Saturday morning and obtain new and exciting knowledge on training days and study camps.
